Offered is a Jim Bottomley signed index card, hobby fresh. Jim Bottomley is a Hall of Fame first baseman who played in the Major Leagues for 15 seasons (1922-37), most notably with the St. Louis Cardinals. A first baseman, he batted .310 lifetime, with 219 home runs. From 1924-29, as the Cards' clean-up hitter, he batted in 100 or more runs each season. In '28, Bottomley led the NL in home runs, RBIs, and total bases, and he won the NL MVP Award. He also played with the Cincinnati Reds and St. Louis Browns. His pleasant disposition earned him the nickname of "Sunny Jim". He helped the Cardinals to four pennants and a pair of World Championships.

The offered index card measures 3x5". Bottomley signed the card in black fountain ink. His signature is large and flowing. The back of the card is blank. The offering has some slight darkening.
