Rawlings Official National League (Coleman) baseball signed by Sandy Koufax, Bob Gibson, and Carl Erskine with inscriptions. This one-of-a-kind ball comes from the personal collection of Carl Erskine, and comes with three letters signed by him. One of the letters reads, "While attending a function in the 1990's with Sandy Koufax and Bob Gibson, I had the 3 of us sign for me an Official National League Coleman baseball since we each had held the World Series Single Game Strikeout record at one time and every game was pitched on October 2nd--each pitcher put the date of their game, the number of strikeouts, and the opponent--the Gibson 17 Strikeout record still stands." "WORLD SERIES STRIKE OUT RECORDS, OCT 2nd" is written on the sweet spot of the baseball. Koufax signed one of the side panels and wrote, "Oct. 2, 1963, 15 K's, N.Y. Yankees" below his name. Bob Gibson signed another side panel and included, "Oct. 2, 1968, 17 K's, Detroit Tigers" below his name. Erskine also signed a side panel, and wrote "Oct 2, 1953, 14 K's, N.Y. Yankees" under his autograph. The Koufax inscription is incredibly rare, and was probably only done because it was for Carl Erskine. The ball is in excellent-mint condition and the signatures rate 8/10 overall. A full LOA from PSA is included as well as three LOAs signed by Erskine.
