Displayed is a 1994 Chicago White Sox home pinstriped game jersey. The jersey has number "34" on back, in black lettering with gray trim. On the left outside tail is a Wilson manufacturer's tag. Below the manufacturer's tag is "Cook 94 2." Dennis Cook, a 6'3" left-handed pitcher, did not wear the number "34," so it is possible that it was game issued to Cook or worn by one and/or two players: Atlee Hammaker, a pitcher and/or Dann Hewitt, a first baseman/outfielder. Seven white buttons run down the jersey front. On the left sleeve is a "Comiskey Park/Chicago White Sox" patch. On the right sleeve is an MLB 125th Anniversary patch. On front, on the right chest, is a sewn-on "34" in black numerals with gray trim. On the left chest is the Chicago White Sox "SOX" emblem, interlocking letters. Cook appeared in 38 games in 1994, all as a reliever. He had a 3-1 record, with a 3.55 ERA. He had no saves, but he did finish eight games.

Regarding the two players who might have worn the offered jersey: Atlee Hammaker pitched in two games for the White Sox in '94. The left-hander had a 0-0 record with an ERA of 0.00 in 1.1 innings, with one strikeout. Dann Hewitt, a left-handed batting first baseman/outfielder played in 10 games for the White Sox in '94. Hewitt went 5-for-14, a batting average of .357. The White Sox went 67-46 in '94, but a strike prevented the season from being completed and there were no playoffs or World Series.

The jersey has a stain, possibly from coffee, on the left outside tail, a a few loose threads. Overall, it shows light use, and it is in very good condition.
