1970s New York Cosmos photo collection with Pele and Franz Beckenbauer. Lot of 19 8x10" photos from the days when Pele and the Cosmos helped take soccer to a popularity never seen before in the United States. Pele played for the Cosmos from 1975-77. Beckenbauer played for the Cosmos from 1977-80, and then again in 1983. There are 16 color photos, and three black and white photos of Pele in included in the lot. Four of the photos in the lot are signed and inscribed "To John," by the following players: Vladislav Bogicevic, Terry Garbett, Santiago Formoso, and an unknown player. The photos are in very good condition overall.
