Presented is a 1947 Brooklyn Dodgers team-signed photo amalgamation, via individual player photos, from a Brooklyn Dodgers game program that includes the signed photo of Jackie Robinson, who integrated modern baseball during his National League Rookie-of-the-Year '47 season. The black & white photos are on what appears to be a centerfold from the program, visible at 11.5x17". attractively matted (in the Dodgers' royal blue) and framed to 17x22.75". The '47 Dodgers had their manager, Leo Durocher, suspended from baseball for his association with unsavory characters. Coach Clyde Sukeforth managed the Dodgers for the season's first two games, and then Burt Shotton took the team the rest of the way. The '47 Dodgers went 94-60 to take the NL pennant, and Brooklyn took the New York Yankees to seven games in the World Series before the Yankees clinched another World Championship.

The offering has 16 Dodgers signatures. The following '47 Dodgers have autographed the program section, each one signing near his photo: Jackie Robinson, who batted .297 and led the NL in steals (29) and sacrifices (28) as he became one of the most important civil rights proponents in the history of the United States; Tommy Brown; Carl Furillo; Dixie Walker; Cookie Lavagetto; Rex Barney; Gene Hermanski; Andy @@@@@; Pee Wee Reese, the Hall of Fame shortstop who supported Jackie Robinson from the beginning; Bruce Edwards; Hank Behrman, who possibly signed his name over facsimile signature; Hugh Casey; Pete Reiser; Vic Lombardi; and Dan Bankhead, the first African American pitcher in the modern Major Leagues.

The offered photo has a vertical fold that remains from its origin in the Dodgers game program. The signatures are in blue fountain ink, and they average 7/10. The signed photo is in EXCELLENT condition. The photos, with at least 16 signed, present a wonderful opportunity for a great remembrance of the historic 1947 Brooklyn Dodgers season.
