Sympathy card (all text in Spanish) signed on the interior by Negro League Hall of Fame pitcher/infielder Martin Dihigo. Dihigo has inscribed the card "Martin Dihigo + familia" in black ink, with the signature grading 9/10. Martin Dihigo's signature is rare today. A native of Cuba, he returned to his homeland after his playing career (late 1940s) and was therefore not readily accessible to autograph collectors. Also, Dihigo died in 1971, but wasn't elected to the Hall of Fame until 1977, so his signature was not highly sought after by collectors while he was active. The fold-over card (4.75x7.25"; folded) remains in Excellent to Mint condition. Full LOA from PSA.
