The photo is an original team issued Type I shot by famed photographer Barney Stein. Autographs including Hall of Famers: Jackie Robinson, Roy Campanella, Pee Wee Reese, Duke Snider, Gil Hodges. Plus, Ralph Branca, Carl Erskine, Carl Furillo (twice, with his additional signature on top of the photo), Joe Hatton, Rex Barney, Tommy Brown, Joe Hatton, and MORE.
The '49 Brooklyn Dodgers won the NL pennant with a record of 97-57-2, and they lost the World Series in five games to the New York Yankees. Jackie Robinson, in his third major League season was the NL MVP, leading the league in batting (.342) and steals (37). The team was managed by Burt Shotton, pictured in civilian clothes in the middle of the first seated row. The Dodgers are wearing satin uniforms. The 8x10" black & white photo has a Barney Stein stamp on back. The photo has small folds and areas where the surface has some crinkly areas.
