A World Series Trophy from the 2004 World Series. This is an owner's version of the trophy, meaning that it is about twice the size of those given to players. Owners can request additional trophies from Tiffany's and this is an example of that. The item is 22" tall, has a diameter of 11" and weighs close to 30 pounds. The piece features 30 gold plated flags for all the league's teams. Four of the flags have broken off and are included. The baseball at the base of the trophy features 24 karat vermeil gold. The base of the trophy reads: 2004 World Series Champions. This is an impressive item and other examples rarely go to auction. It is especially impressive at it is from the World Series where the Red Sox broke their long-time curse. Due to the weight of this item, additional shipping should be expected.
