Before he became the gold standard for NHL offensive defensemen during his 21-year career spanning from 1979-2001, Ray Bourque prepared for the big time by playing 135 games for the Verdun Blackhawks of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. This red snap-front jacket shows great use by the Hall of Famer, with frayed cloth patch (in French) on left breast, tag from Pat's of Verdun inside collar, and name written in black Sharpie inside collar. Historic piece from a hockey legend.
