This official ledger book helped keep all of the Detroit Tigers accounts balanced and today is a remarkable piece of history. This oversized (10.5x16") book gives us a peek into the Tigers finances and documents salaries and payments made to players including Tyrus Cobb, Hugh Jennings, Sam Crawford and the rest. Extremely detailed, this time capsule also notes other expenses such as equipment, groundskeeping and even fines paid. Of the 184 pages found in the book, 89 have been used and are all filled out in extremely legible black ink, red ink, or pencil. Some wear/damage to the spine but the book remains tight with no loose pages.
