Mid-1980s Magic Johnson game worn Converse sneakers source from the family of a former Knicks employee who obtained these shoes in the locker room after a game which he worked. Each shoes has "Magic" printed on the outside beneath the Converse star in block letters. Magic wore this style shoe for a number of years in the 1980s, including the 1984 & 1985 NBA Finals, and we have shown a few photographs of Magic wearing this style. We found numerous photos online in which the creases seem to line up to the creases of our shoes, but just not definitive enough to photo-match. Both shoes have heavy wear with creases in the right spots as well as a few scuffs and loose threads. Size 14 1/2 "Made in USA tags" are found in each.
