Scarce as it is collectible, this rare 1967 Boston Red Sox Felt Pennant brings back images of Carl Yastrzemski’s American League MVP and Triple Crown season. Roughly 7.5x15” overall, this felt keepsake reads, “American League Champions Boston Red Sox – 1967” and is in patriotic red, white and blue. Four machine punched holes are found in the corners (one retains its punched piece) and are believed to have been purpose-made and original to the piece; perhaps for mounting. One small non-original hole is noticed under the “R” in Red Sox but does not distract the eye drastically.
