Few athletes are truly unique, changing the way their sport is played with their singular skills. Earvin "Magic" Johnson was one of them. Johnson accomplished virtually everything a player could dream of during his 13-year NBA career, all of which was spent with the Los Angeles Lakers. The only thing missing was as Olympic Gold Medal.

Worn by Magic during the Tournament of the Americas on July 5, 1992 in the Gold Medal game held in Portland, Oregon, these sneakers helped the Dream Team enter the 1992 Olympics as the Number 1 seed. Red, white and blue “Cons” feature Magic’s number “15” and “Magic” embroidery as well as a USA Basketball logo on each tongue. Pair shows great use with creases noticed in the all of the spots you’d expect. Each shoe has been signed by Magic with the right example having been personalized.

Comes from a member of the "Dream Team" support staff who was given these shoes by Magic Johnson in the locker room right after the Tournament of the Americas Gold Medal Game. These shoes are fresh to market and are truly one-of-a-kind. This support staff member was also fortunate to have received the sneakers worn by Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen from the same game; those too are in the current Lelands auction. Remarkable provenance comes with a Lelands LOA.

Photo-Matched: Both shoes have been photo-matched by RGU Photomatching to an undated image from the 1992 Tournament of the Americas. A LOA from RGU will be included and a picture of the LOA will be uploaded to this listing once we receive it.
