Caulfeld & Shook, noted equine photographers, published a few framed large color photographs picturing the winners’ circle at Churchill Downs. The first two offerings are of TC champs each 17.25x15.25”. 1) War Admiral, 1937, showing owner S. D. Riddle and jockey Charley Kurtsinger. 2) Count Fleet, 1943, showing J. D. Hertz, and jockey John Longden. The third is Native Dancer standing to right, with a brass plate on frame & signed by P. M. Starr. It is 26.5x22.5”. All are very rare and in superb condition.
