Simple yet significant, this generic triple wooden bench originates from the renovation of Notre Dame Stadium. Generations of Fighting Irish fans have flocked to South Bend and sat on benches like this one to few the greats, from Knute Rockne, George "The Gipper" Gipp, the Four Horsemen Paul Hornung and so many more. Measuring 58x5.5", the numbers 12-13-14 are stamped in white stencil one one side and, 15-16-17 on the reverse with hole for the bolts to keep it in place. Shows great wear from the elements, further evoking memories of Notre Dame football history. "Touchdown Jesus" himself would be proud to own this piece.
The following items are from a private collection of a long-time Notre Dame football fanatic. The quality of this collection is the finest that we have seen. It has taken a half century to procure these items and now is the first time that some of them have seen the light of day. Enjoy and help to preserve the rich history of the fighting Irish!
