Original Eddie Germano illustration from the Boston Globe Sunday Magazine titled "Brains and Talent" pen and ink original art. Fascinating content as this was after the halting of "I Love Lucy" as a weekly show in 1957. One of Hollywood's original Power Couples, Lucy and Desi spent the next few years releasing the show in periodic one-hour specials, and this work tips the hat to that marketing strategy. Germano seems to have intended to use "sporadically" in noting that "By appearing spasmodically (sic), they haven't worn out their welcome." Final unique point is that both are portrayed in white paint on a black paper background, unusual for Germano's work. These Germano drawings highlighted upcoming television programs or events, this measures 11x14.5" with some minor discoloration around edges, in EX condition.
