Complete set of N33 Allen & Ginter “Worlds Smokers” cards (50), produced in 1888. A very sharp-looking set, with colorful subjects and vivid lithography. Overall, cards grade 20% EX-MT, 15% EX, 25% VG-EX, 20% VG, 15% GD and 5% lesser. Cards were issued in Allen & Ginter cigarette packs, with each featuring an ‘enthusiastic’ smoker in period-appropriate attire. The back of each features a set checklist. Cards are bold and beautiful; upgrade a handful for a world-class set.
