In the pantheon of Pittsburgh Steelers greats, few can claim as much popularity and effectiveness as Jerome Bettis. Known as "The Bus" for his hard-charging style of running, Bettis amassed over 15,000 total yards in his 13-year Hall of Fame career. This black home Steelers jersey shows superior use and was worn in at least seven games including October 7th, the game in which he rushed for his 10,000th yard. Sourced directly from the Pittsburgh Steelers. Bettis rushed for a total of 610 yards and 5 TDs in this very jersey! Photo-matched to: August 30th (Getty image #56796633), October 7th - 153 yds - 10,000th yard game! (533726), October 21st - 143 yds and 1 TD (594124), October 29th - 62 yds and 2 TDs (80835879), November 11th - 163 yds (549938), December 2nd - 81 yds and 1 TD (52697502), AFC Championship January 27th - 8 yds and 1 TD (85148924). Covered with paint transfers as well as over a half-dozen team repairs and alterations. Reebok Steelers size 46 tag is on the tail and 01-46 tag is sewn inside the collar. An embroidered Steelers logo is on the left breast, and his number 36 in white is on the front, back, and sleeves. Bettis capped off his playing days in style, leading Pittsburgh to victory in Super Bowl XL, after which he announced his retirement. Great opportunity for a Hall of Fame jersey.

Never before has a major sports franchise opened its team archives going back nearly a century. Let alone a franchise as historic as the Pittsburgh Steelers.  Founded in 1933 by Art Rooney Sr., the Rooney Family imprint remains to this day.  From the glory of the Steel Curtain to an NFL-best six Lombardi trophies, the Pittsburgh Steelers name defines excellence and winning.  We present the latest offering of “The Pittsburgh Steelers Archive of Exceptional Jerseys.” For decades, the Pittsburgh Steelers have guarded and saved their own equipment, thereby creating a huge void in the sports marketplace.  As a result, the Pittsburgh Steelers have become the crème de la crème. The rarest and most sought after game equipment of any National Football League team.  We were not there in 1922 when they first opened King Tut’s Tomb or discovered the Dead Sea Scrolls.  But now, perhaps we all know a bit about how that felt. All items will come with a letter of authenticity from the Pittsburgh Steelers and Lelands.  A portion of the proceeds from the sale of Steelers Archives Jerseys will be donated to the Chuck Noll Foundation for Brain Injury Research.
