Terrific history in this Adirondack/Rawlings model 154A bat. It was used in 1987 by Mike Schmidt and game used for career HR #521; at the time, this tied Ted Williams and Willie McCovey on the all-time long ball list. Signed on barrel with home run number "#521" inscription, the knob has the model number stamped along with "207 7," the number 33 written in pencil, and Schmidt's 20 written in black marker. Ball marks, ink transfers, pine tar and cleat marks add to the wear and tear on this specimen, which measures 35" and weighs 32.7 ounces. Tremendous provenance includes a letter from Schmidt, PSA LOA, and even a Veterans Stadium ticket stub from the August 19 1987, contest in which Schmidt hit the mark as his three-run third inning blast was the big blow in Philadelphia's 6-5 win over San Diego. PSA GU 9.5 LOA, a great offering from one of the greatest of all time.
