A fine collection of four (4) non-sport tobacco card sets from the turn of the century, all lithographed and displaying bold, beautiful colors. Three (3) sets are complete, one is partial, and overall they present at a strong collector level. The group includes 1890 N163 ‘Dogs of the World’ partial set (43/50); Goodwin & Co./Old Judge backs. 10% are EX or better, 70% VG to VG-EX, 20% slightly lesser; six (6) show some back damage and one is miscut; 1889 N228-2 Kinney Bros. ‘Novelties’ complete set of 50 discs; red/blue/cream backs, a few with slight paper loss. Overall, a very consistent EX to EX-MT appearance; 1889 N218 Kinney Bros. ‘Famous Gems of the World’ complete set of 25. Eight (8) are EX or better, 11 VG to VG-EX, six (6) lesser; a few are o/c and one has a pinhole; 1889 N226 Kinney Bros. ‘Naval Vessels of the World’ complete set of 25. Most all have strong corners but exhibit moderate chipping. A fine, eclectic collection of early tobacco issues. Total 143 cards.
