Connie Mack was 81 years old and nearing the end of his amazing, 50-year tenure as Philadelphia Athletics manager when he was honored on the front page of this 1944 program commemorating his Golden Anniversary in baseball. The program features 10 notable signatures: Babe Ruth, Honus Wagner, Walter Johnson, Tris Speaker, Frank "Home Run" Baker, George Sisler, Eddie Collins, Joe McCarthy, Lefty Grove and even Lou Costello. The signatures are large on the first page with Ruth measuring 4" long. The program itself measures 8.5x11" and the signatures rate 7-8/10. There are two staples on the binding and one is detached from the pages, however it does not affect display quality. There is minor creasing, but otherwise is in Very Good condition. Comes with a JSA LOA incoming from the consignor.
