The #7-ranked Fighting Irish upended Army at Yankee Stadium, 19-7, on October 29, 1938, extending a rivalry that was born in 1913 at West Point. This program is distinguished by a cover signature in pencil by the man who "built" the Stadium - Babe Ruth - who had hung up his cleats just three years prior. Dual authentication by PSA/DNA and JSA certification, the program has a middle spine split of about four inches but otherwise presents as Good with cover wear and creasing, none of which affects The Bambino's signature. Though Notre Dame and the Black Knights don't match up on an annual basis anymore, the rivalry remains one of college football's most famous as both teams were frequently ranked in the national polls when they squared off.

The following items are from a private collection of a long-time Notre Dame football fanatic. The quality of this collection is the finest that we have seen.  It has taken a half century to procure these items and now is the first time that some of them have seen the light of day. Enjoy and help to preserve the rich history of the fighting Irish!
