Featuring its original tassels and wooden rod, this welcome banner was displayed at the Firestone Country Club in Akron, Ohio, from July 21-24, 1960 as former World War II Marine captain Jay Heber won his only PGA championship with a 281 (+1) score. The sign is 42" long and has no rips or tears, though there is some slight fading and crackling of decals. Arnold Palmer finished seventh among the field during that tournament.
