A great collection from one of baseball's greatest second basemen, virtually every stop of Nellie Fox's professional career is chronicled in these pictures, from his days in semi-pro ball all the way up to his final days coaching with the Texas Rangers. There is a variety of sizes here but many are snapshots that are one-of-a-kind and family-oriented. There are two albums that accompany with the collection, each still containing many photos. additionally, there are some early news articles about the man who spent the majority of his professional career with the Chicago White Sox. About one quarter of the lot showcases Fox, with the others being family members, teammates and classmates. There is a lot of great early stuff from the 1940s when Nellie was in high school or in semi-pro ball. Many are loose but overall, the pics are in EX condition.
