Remarkable baseball signed at Game 3 of the 1926 World Series by the World Champion Cardinals and American League Champion Yankees. Official National League (Heydler) ball features 27 signatures including Babe Ruth with "World Series Oct 7th 1926" inscription (sweet spot), Grover Alexander (sweet spot), Jesse Haines, Jim Bottomley, Rogers Hornsby, Billy Southworth, Herb Pennock, Chick Hafey and others. Hornsby and Pennock also dated this ball in their own hands, thus leading us to believe there is something particularly special about this ball or even a possible game ball. Comes from the collection of the former manager of the Decatur Staleys, who eventually became the Chicago Bears. Ball has scuff on side panel otherwise VG condition; signatures rate 4/10 overall with the Ruth being the boldest.
