Multi-sport athlete and two-time Olympic Gold Medalist Babe Didrikson Zaharias penned this two-page letter to her dear friend, Keith Quick. Dated September 17, 1944, and written in green ink, she references how well she is playing golf at the time, as she was approximately three months removed from winning the 1944 Women's Western Open golf tournament. Babe writes on page two: "I also won the women's Western Open in June. Beating Dorothy German 7-6 in the finals. Shot a 69 on the final 18 holes."
