Topps debuted this football set in 1956 after acquiring their rival, Bowman. Cards feature a player photo superimposed over a solid color background, with the team logo set at an upper corner and the player's name, team name and position fixed at the bottom of the image. From that impressive new set comes this wrapped display box that once held 24 5-cent wax packs full of players such as Jack Carson, Frank Gifford, Joe Schmidt and the other stars of the 1950s. Small amount of paper loss noticed on the bottom and back but otherwise presents VG.
