From Wade Boggs' Championship season with the New York Yankees comes this impressive 1996 game used and signed bat. Rawlings model 456B Wade Boggs pro model bat is uncracked and shows evidence of outstanding game use. Many ball marks and ball stitch marks are visible on the right and front barrel. Ball marks include blue ink transfers and white leather scuffs. There is a moderate coat of pine tar on the lower and upper handles. The model number (456B), order number (553) and year (96) are stamped into the knob. Boggs' number (12) is also on the knob in black marker. Also, written on the knob in black pen is "Boggs" and the weight (32). Signed on barrel in silver and auto is authenticated by MAB; early PSA letter stating the bat was used by Boggs in 1996.
