Recovered from the demolition in 1998, this outstanding double seat specimen is truly something special. Original and completely un-restored, these seats ooze Boston history. While still in use these seats were repainted orange during renovations to the stadium, but hints of Irish Green can still be seen in areas where the most current layer of orange has chipped away. Stenciled with numbers "7" and "6" in white, number "6" has also been hand carved "CLIP." Although we're unsure of the meaning, appears to have been there a long time; it's under all the orange paint and stenciling. Complete in every way, this pair is fully functional with only a few light cracks noticed on the tops of the back rests that do not detract from the overall presentation. Comes with Certificate of Authenticity and brass plaque (not yet attached).
