Superb 1896 American Association sterling silver season pass. Pass was presented to Mr. & Mrs. John B. Day. Day was one of the founding fathers of the game founding the N.Y. Metropolitans and opening the first stadium in Manhattan, the Polo Grounds. The pass reads Championship Souvenir of 1896 Entree To All Parks Mr. and Mrs. John B. Day Acct Cincinnati Compliments of J.T. Brush Prest. Brush was the owner of Cincinnati at the time. The pass comes in its original leather velvet lined case with insert that allows both sides of the pass to be displayed. The piece has beautiful art nouveau design and engraving and was manufactured by Gorham Mfg., NY. A very rare piece that is fresh to the hobby.
