Circa 1927 Philadelphia Athletics type I baseball photos including images of Poole, Perkins, Naylor, Sigafoos and Rommel. The key of the lot are three photos of Thomas Edison visiting the Philadelphia Athletics at Spring Training in 1927 from the Eddie Rommel collection. Two photos are of Edison with the team and one with the legendary Connie Mack. The "Wizard of Menlo Park" was a big baseball fan and sponsored company teams. Edison threw out the ceremonial first pitch at many games. These and some others of these 3x5" treasures are in great condition.
