In honor of the famed Wild Bill Donovan T3 card comes this hand painted oil on board rendition. 18" x 26 1/2" overall, this piece was created by talented sports collector/connoisseur John Phillips. Bright colors and nicely painted details makes this piece extremely similar to the real deal in terms of appearance. Commissioned in 1979, this piece was done to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the 1909 World Series between Pittsburgh and Detroit, the only MLB games to feature Honus Wagner and Ty Cobb.
