An extremely rare offering with an equally unusual backstory, this Philadelphia Phillies full uniform (jersey and pants) dates to May 19, 1979. It was a one-game style, predominantly in the team's maroon color, with a broad white stripe down each side. This specific uniform was produced for pitcher Jim Wright but, alas, Wright never made the team. As such, this set is in like-new condition. The zip-front top has a Phillies "P" logo on the left breast and the number 37 on the right, with Rawlings size 44 tag, "Set 1 1979" tag and "44 79 1" tag on the front tail. The back bears the same number, with "WRIGHT" sewn onto a curved nameplate above. The pants have Rawlings size 34 tagging along with "34 28 37 79 1". Wright did eventually make it to the Majors, tossing for the Kansas City Royals in the 1981 and '82 seasons.
