The most coveted piece of the 1909 American Caramel set, "Shoeless" Joe Jackson is posed with left hand on hip and right hand propped on bat set against a purple backdrop. Generally considered Jackson's rookie card, the lifetime .356 hitter broke in with the Philadelphia A's the previous August. One of only a few Jackson cards in circulation, this is clearly the most valuable. Measuring about 1.5x2.75", this is the 1909 E90-1 American Caramel, encapsulated by PSA and graded FR 1.5 due to a crease. The card presents much nicer.
