Retrieved by Bernie Stowe, the legendary Reds equipment manager, this remarkable home plate has been a part of Stowe's personal collection ever since. Brought home after a Reds game at Crosley Field, we believe this plate was retired at the end of the season or possibly the last game ever at Crosley Field, but that cannot be confirmed. Shows great use and appears to have been used for at least an entire season. With no markings or inscriptions found, we can't pinpoint whether this was a field or bullpen used plate. Complete with Crosley Field dirt, this outstanding home plate still retains its original mounting hardware and has an outstanding overall appearance.
