While a true "complete" (ie, extended) set of 1962 Salada-Junket Baseball Coins features 221 different Major League Baseball players on 265 plastic coins, the set is oftentimes considered "complete" at 180 coins, which was the original number of coins issued (when MLB expanded to include the New York Mets and Houston Colt .45's, the set grew to 265 coins, including the multiple variations). This lot includes 179 of 180 of the original coins, missing only #41 Mantle, each in superb condition and in its own clear holder. The more common versions of any coin with a variation is included, along with 22 duplicates, also in high grade condition. A beautiful set for any fan of baseball disc collectibles.
