This is one very rare test issue produced by Topps in 1973. Martial Arts and Kung Fu were very popular with kids at the time, and Topps capitalized on the trend by producing a red-bordered card set of 60 starring David Carradine. A rare test version of 44 with blue borders was also produced – one of the rarest test sets ever produced by Topps. Here we have 43/44 of the blue-bordered cards, missing only #25 for completion. Card grades are: GD-VG: 1 (#1) VG: 17 VG-EX: 15 EX: 10. Understand that singles from the blue-bordered set are rarely seen, let alone a near set that is just one card from completion. Numbers 4, 29 and 41 are all graded PSA 5. If you can locate a decent copy of card #25, then you will be one of only a handful of people who can claim ownership of a complete blue-bordered set.
