Part of one of the most noteworthy families in hockey history, Craig Patrick's grandfather was Lester Patrick, who, along with brother Frank, were early 1900s hockey innovators who were players and executives. The playoffs were just one of their innovations. Craig Patrick's father and uncle, Muzz and Lynn Patrick, were also NHL icons. Craig Patrick made his mark in 17 years as General Manager of the Pittsburgh Penguins, also having served as assistant GM and assistant coach for the 1980 Miracle on Ice US Olympic Team. This 12x12" glass plaque is the one given to Craig in 2001 at his induction ceremonies into the Hockey Hall of Fame and is identical to the one that hangs in the Hall today. In NM condition, it bears an image of Patrick above a history of his accomplishments (in both English and French, of course), as well as his induction year. The Penguins won a pair of Stanley Cups during Craig's tenure, which laid the foundation for the success that the franchise continues to enjoy to this day.
