The Stanford Pottery company of Sebring, Ohio set the gold standard for ceramics in the late 1940s and its delightful line of Gibbs-Connor ceramic banks is highly coveted today.  Among the subjects was this Cleveland Indians themed ceramic bank.  Standing 7" tall, Chief Wahoo is leaning against an oversized baseball with his trademark smile.  Presents very well with only the feather missing and a touched up crack by his ear and bat.
