Tobacco Premium. Image of Theodore Roosevelt (approx. 7x11", irregular shape). The image shows Roosevelt as a Rough Rider, the volunteer force he organized to fight against Spain in Cuba in the Spanish American War in 1898. Teddy Roosevelt and the Rough Riders earned fame for their capture of Kettle Hill, and they also assisted in the seizure of St. Juan Ridge, on the sloop to St. Juan Hill. Teddy Roosevelt later became the United States President in 1901 upon the assassination of President McKinley and after winning a second term, Teddy Roosevelt remained President until his second term expired in 1909. Perfect Image. Signed "Re-Kab". One defect at top right, otherwise excellent condition.
