Bobby Clarke jersey comes with a letter from Resolution Photomatching, and is photo-matched to a game photo that is undated. Clarke played his entire 15-year career with the Philadelphia Flyers. He was the Captain of the Flyers when they won two Stanley Cups, in 1974 and 1975. A three-time Hart Trophy winner as the NHL's MVP, Clarke, a center, was a great playmaker and defensive forward. Clarke was a chippy player who was consistently aggressive, despite his playing with Type 1 diabetes for his entire professional career. He played on eight All-Star teams, is a member of the Hockey Hall of Fame, and has been named one of the 100 greatest NHL players in history. Several points on the front of the jersey match up to the photo of Bobby Clarke wearing it, including a half-inch unrepaired rip, the placement of the Captain's "C" in relation to the mesh holes, the sewn-on black background of the Captains' "C", and the alignment of the logo with mesh holes and marks on the logo on the front. The jersey is all original and shows great use with blood stains, loose threads, unrepaired rips and holes, stick marks and pilling inside. Metal clip style fight strap inside. "16" on back and both sleeves. "CLARKE" sewn on nameplate on back. Goodman & Sons size M tag in the collar along with Bill Vanderburg tag. This is one of the best Clarke jerseys to ever be offered. Top tier. It has everything going for it.
