This is the fabled wrapper collection of pioneer collector Gregory Grant. Greg is the original person who worked out the master list of all wrapper variations in the early 2000s, including all Ad variations. He also assembled the first and finest complete run which was meticulously upgraded over a period of many years. Some of them are the best specimens known. For some of these there are only a handful known in any condition. The 5c Ad Wrapper is probably the most valuable, nearly impossible to find without tears. Many of these wrappers have not been seen for sale in many years and at this point it would be impossible to piece together a collection like this. This will always be among the premier wrapper runs. Since this collection was assembled, two previously unknown OPC wrappers have turned up. So, the owner will still have something to do to complete it to the state of current knowledge.
