Very large group of early Topps & Bowman baseball, overall in very presentable collector condition. Cards range from 1952 to 1959, and include major/minor stars as noted: 1952 Topps - 120+, with #s thru 309. Many Yankees, Dodgers; most cards G-VG, with about 5% nicer and 5% duplicates. A handful have minor writing on the front/back. 1953 Topps - 150+, with 20 high numbers. Most cards G-VG, with a handful of duplicates. Lot includes Paige (VG, crease), Mathews (VG-EX), Campanella (FR-GD) and several single prints. 1954 Topps - 150+, mostly VG or better. Lot includes Martin (VG-EX, o/c), Hodges (VG-EX), Wilhelm (VG) and the rookie card of Frank Leja (VG-EX, m/c). 1956 - 220+ (of 340), mostly EX or better. Lot includes Mantle (VG, light crease, light stain), Mays (VG, light crease), Campy (VG-EX, light crease), Snider (VG, crease), League Presidents, Braves dated team card (EX+) and other dated/undated team cards, with only a minor number of duplicates. 1957 - 440+, mostly VG to EX+. Includes Aparicio (VG, o/c), team cards including Yankees (GD-VG) and #1 Williams (VG). About 30% are duplicates. 1958 - 490+, mostly VG-EX to EX-MT, with a handful approaching NM. About 15% are duplicates; includes many team cards including Yankees (2), most All-Star cards including Mantle, Williams, Aaron and five (5) yellow-letter variations. 1959 - 370+, mostly VG to EX with 10% better. About 5% duplicates; includes Hodges (VG), Clemente (FR) and Yankees team card (VG). This grand collection also includes: 30 - 1953 Bowman B&W (mostly EX or better; half the set), 22 - 1952 Bowman including Furillo, and five (5) - 1954 Bowman including Furillo.
