Stunning men's kimono selected from the Nippon Baseball Kimono Collection, an important archive of baseball and other sports-themed kimonos recently discovered in Japan and imported into the United States. Compiled over many decades, they are the finest we have seen. Nice muted colors predominately featuring various shades of brown and tan. Beautiful images of baseball players in action are repeated numerous times on the kimono. Some of the players are in silhouette and others are in a impressionistic form, almost like dream images. Players in action, a scoreboard, a victory trophy, a doubles tennis match, a baseball batter following through, a baseball glove and bat. One sleeve is sewn shut, but could be easily modified. A few threads are slightly loose. Size would be a men's small or possibly medium. Overall, Excellent condition.
