A seven-time All-Star and NL MVP, Sammy Sosa topped sixty dingers in a single season three times and finished with 609 career long balls. On offer here is Sosa's game used fielder's glove from the early-to-mid-2000s. It exhibits multiple seasons of wear and is photo-matched (see Getty Images 120937946) to the 2005 season. An Easton Stealth SS-21N model, the glove is comprised of supple green/red leather with red/black textured panels which are braille-like in nature. "Sammy Sosa" (on the outer thumb) and the US and Dominican flags (outer fingers) are all embroidered on. The glove is nicely broken-in and exhibits fine overall wear. Game used gloves belonging to players of Sosa's caliber are extremely difficult to come by.
