A tremendous collection of vintage boxing trophies and statues with great visual and display appeal. 1) 19th Century Benicia Boy cast iron statue displays figural African-American pugilist. Parts of hands have broken off but the rest of the piece is intact. Measures 9" high. 2) 1919 gold-colored Police Athletic Association loving cup on black base is inscribed "P.A.A. Inter-City Boxing New York vs. Pittsburgh, April 12, 1919." Some of the gold paint has come off giving it a nice vintage look. Measures 11" high. 3) 1920s art deco trophy features figural boxer on metal bowl which sits atop a bakelite base. Inscription plate is no longer present. 4). 1930s art deco trophy awarded to future Heavyweight Champion Fritzie Zivic features a figural pugilist atop four Corinthian columns and a bakelite base. Inscription plate reads: "To Fritzie Zivic For Outstanding Athletic Performance. Presented By Nation K.S.K.J. Athletic Board." Founded more than a century ago, K.S.K.J. is an organization which was originally created to protect Slovenian immigrants. Measures 28.5" high. 5). 1930s ceramic statue features an African-American boxer with articulating arms standing on a base. 6). 1932 art deco trophy features figural boxer atop tiered metal and wood bases. Inscription reads "A.M.A. Junior Boxing Championships 1932 Point Trophy Won By PGH Lyseum" Measures 17" high. 7). 1940s British boxing display features silver-toned metallic freeze of a bout on black wood stand-up. Measures 6.5" high. 8) Circa 1950 figural cast iron boxer stands on a wooden base in a classic and artful pose. Measures 11.5" high. 9) Circa 1959 "Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey" ceramic advertising display by Mattel. Figure modeled after John L. Sullivan. Some minor chipping. Add the bottle and have a killer display. Measures 15" high. 10) 1960s plaster statue depicts pugilist in 19th Century bare-knuckle pose. Based on John L. Sullivan. Some chipping. Measures 14" high. 11) 1960s bronze boxing glove on marble paperweight. Measures 5.5" high. 12) 1970s black fist wooden sculpture is reminiscent of the Mexico City protest. 13) 1980s metal sculpture on wooden base depicting two figural boxers in the heat of a match. Measures 10" high. 14) 1994 statue by West Art with fighter standing in victory pose. Gold and black painted paster composite. Measures 14" high. 15) 1996 Henry Cooper Limited Edition (581/9,500) painted display cup. Measures 4" high.
