This is a treasure! The best Babe Ruth signed black and white photograph we have ever seen. Beautiful photo work, matting, and framing. Inscribed "Good Luck, To Ed, From Babe Ruth." Shows Ruth in a vignette, profile shot, no baseball cap, hair neatly combed; the Babe at his handsomest. Black frame with white matting, Ruth's photograph with a white background. Photo has a nice, formal quality. Appears to be Ruth in the latter stages of his playing career. Circa mid-1930s, when he was still with the New York Yankees. Measures 12x15" in frame; photo itself measures 5.5x8.5". Signature is absolutely marvelous. Bold, black, fountain pen signature is in large, neat script. PSA authenticated and graded "9" signature.
