Attractive, life-like sketches that were hand-colored, then made into lithographs. Artist was Josef Cyril. Three (9.5x13.5') prints each having seven members of the Ted Williams Hitters Hall of Fame. All 21 of these players were Inaugural Inductees in 1995. 1) Early Years: Babe Ruth, Tris Speaker,  Harry Heilman, Lou Gehrig, Joe Jackson, Ty Cobb, and Rogers Hornsby. 2) Middle Years:  Joe DiMaggio, Hank Greenburg, Jimmie Foxx, Johnny Mize, Ralph Kiner, Mel Ott, and Al Simmons. 3) Later Years: Stan Musial, Hank Aaron, Frank Robinson, Mike Schmidt, Mickey Mantle, Willie Mays, and, in what should not be totally shocking, Ted Williams was inducted into his own museum. Since he did hit .344 life-time with 521 homers despite missing essentially five seasons to military service, we can safely assume that the Major's last .400 hitter did not gain entrance into his own museum through nepotism. He earned it.
