Interesting pre-Civil War photo (framed 17.5x22"). Professional Jack Havlin is posed in the bare-knuckle style of the era. The name underneath the photo is misspelled as "Jack Hanlin." Autographed, and inscribed as, "The Miniature Morrisey." The "Miniature" is appropriate as Havlin was only a shade over 5'2". Havlin did not have a long career as a pro, but did win a Police Gazette Featherweight Championship. Some staining on the piece itself, some staining on the matting, backing has paper loss.
