Recently discovered in the Washington D. C. area, this helmet has all the earmarks of early 1950s Washington Redskins. Although it cannot be proven, this all original helmet is in the correct Redskins colors, has never been repainted, and the air hole on top is proper. This 7.1" helmet has all of its original webbing and does not appear to have been repaired in any way. Its original leather chin strap is present, but is unfortunately torn. This helmet presents very well and definitely has "The Look" of early NFL.
